2. Services
Axis Engineering provides metal fabrication, engineering, and manufacturing services including but not limited to:
- Laser cutting and CNC machining
- Steel fabrication and welding
- Metal finishing and surface treatments
- Custom design and engineering services
- Assembly and logistics
Specific terms for individual projects will be outlined in separate quotations and agreements.
3. Quotations and Orders
All quotations provided by Axis Engineering are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated. Quotations are based on the information provided and may be subject to change if specifications are altered.
- Orders are confirmed upon receipt of written acceptance and any required deposit
- Lead times commence from order confirmation and receipt of all necessary information
- Any changes to orders may result in revised pricing and delivery schedules
- Cancellation fees may apply for confirmed orders
4. Payment Terms
Unless otherwise agreed in writing:
- New customers: 50% deposit required with order, balance prior to delivery
- Approved accounts: Net 30 days from invoice date
- Late payments may incur interest charges
- Goods remain the property of Axis Engineering until paid in full
5. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Axis Engineering or its content suppliers and is protected by Australian and international copyright laws.
Customer-provided designs and specifications remain the intellectual property of the customer.Axis Engineering will maintain confidentiality of all proprietary information.
6. Quality and Tolerances
Axis Engineering is committed to delivering high-quality products. Unless otherwise specified:
- Standard tolerances apply as per industry standards
- Tighter tolerances must be specified at quotation stage
- All work is subject to our quality management processes
- Inspection reports and certifications available upon request
7. Warranty
Axis Engineering warrants that all products will be manufactured in accordance with approved specifications and free from defects in workmanship for a period of 12 months from delivery.
This warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, improper installation, modifications, or normal wear and tear. Warranty claims must be submitted in writing within the warranty period.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Axis Engineering shall not be liable for:
- Indirect, consequential, or incidental damages
- Loss of profits, revenue, or business opportunities
- Delays caused by factors beyond our reasonable control
- Issues arising from customer-supplied materials or specifications
Our total liability shall not exceed the value of the specific goods or services in question.
9. Delivery and Risk
Unless otherwise agreed:
- Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed
- Risk passes to the customer upon delivery or collection
- The customer is responsible for checking goods upon receipt
- Claims for damage or shortages must be reported within 48 hours
10. Website Use
When using our website, you agree not to:
- Use the website for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems
- Transmit viruses or malicious code
- Copy or reproduce website content without permission

11. Force Majeure
Axis Engineering shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, war, terrorism, strikes, government actions, supply chain disruptions, or pandemics.
